About DayBreak

Our Mission

To enrich lives with the good news of Jesus via relationships, education, and service.

Our Values

1. Living by and proclaiming the teachings and behaviour of Jesus.
2. Engaging Airdrie with the love of Jesus.
3. Serving our church, community, and world in the spirit of Jesus.
4. Celebrating God’s grace in the lives of all who seek Jesus.
DayBreak Community Church of Airdrie is a group of Christ-followers whose primary objective is to share the persistent love of Jesus Christ with ALL people. We are people who are finding help, hope and healing in Jesus and desire to see other people encounter the kind of acceptance, assistance and growth to be found via the Life offered through faith in Christ. While we respect all faith traditions, we unapologetically look to the example of Jesus, God’s Incarnate Word, as the author and director of how we practice our faith in twenty first-century Canada.

DayBreak Community Church is affiliated with The North American Baptist Conference (NABC), and came into existence in the early 1980s as a church plant named Faith Community Baptist Church. In 2015 our name was changed to DayBreak Community Church to reflect our renewed commitment to our rapidly growing community and the influence we desire to have on it.

For information about the NABC including theological beliefs please visit the NAB website

DayBreak Community Church respectfully acknowledges that we work and worship on Treaty 7 territory, the traditional home of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Tsuut’ina Nation and Stoney-Nakoda Nations, and the People of Metis Region 3.
