That’s why we have a groups. We want everyone to have the opportunity to be known and cared for.
Contemplation Group
First Sunday, monthly 6:30 PM
in the Fireside Room
This group meets on the first Sunday of each month for a time of contemplation and reflection. We often engage the Lectio Divina as a listening prayer. We listen to a reading from Scripture and contemplate what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. This form of prayer usually reveals something personal to each one of us. This type of prayer is not for everyone, however, if you are interested, we invite you to join us.
Men’s Bible Study
Monday, weekly 7:00 PM

Bible conversations are meant to look deeper into God’s Word to develop a man’s Christian understanding through the knowledge shared by others in the group. Last year, the group looked at 1 and 2 Timothy. Typically 3-6 men attend weekly and we’d love to have more join the group.
Prayer Gathering

We value building up through prayer, encouragement, care, and compassion. At DayBreak we believe in the power of prayer because we so often need help. Everyone is welcome to meet on Tuesday evenings as we pray for the needs of our church and community.
Ladies Study Group

This 13-week study begins February 21. We will be studying the book The Essential Guide to Prayer by Dutch Sheets. Participants will be required to purchase a copy of the book.
Coffee Group

You’re invited to meet for coffee at Denny’s on Main Street in Airdrie. Denny’s provides a seniors discount on Thursdays for those of us who may be 65+ but are young at heart.

You are invited to meet for lunch at Old Towne Pizza House. Registration is required by the Friday prior to the lunch to Greg or Flo.
Retreats
Stations of the Cross: This indoor walk is designed to bring us into a deeper understanding of the work of Christ, a deeper appreciation for Christ, the Messiah of God, and a deeper relationship with Christ, the Son of God.
Advent Retreat: The Saturday prior to the first Sunday of Advent, we journey through the story of the nativity engaging a variety of prayer styles.
Plans are in the works for more retreats in 2023/2024. We hope you’ll find something of interest to become involved in.
