Children’s Ministry
Our deepest hope for Children's Ministry at DayBreak is that children would come to know who Jesus is and how much he loves them. We firmly believe that we are not offering childcare - instead, the time that your children spend with us is meant to build relationships and provide a fun and engaging way for them to learn more about the God who created them and loves them deeply.
Sunday morning Children's Ministry takes place each Sunday during Sunday morning service from mid-September to the end of June. On long weekends, rather than children-specific classes, we worship together in intergenerational and interactive family services.

Anyone between the ages of 1 and 12 years (grade 6) is welcome to attend!

When families first arrive, they can head to the check-in desk where a volunteer will help them sign up and check in their children.
Nursery-aged children are welcome to head to the nursery anytime after 9:45. Our welcoming volunteers will be waiting for children ages 1-4 for a time of free play, colouring, and crafts!
Children between the ages of 5 and grade 6 will join their families in the service for our worship time. There will then be a kids' moment partway through the service where we practice our memory verse as well as let the adults in the room in on what we'll be learning in our class that day. After this, kids are dismissed with their teachers to the classroom. Here they will participate in activities and crafts that connect to the day's Bible story, which will point children to our curriculum's four core truths: God knows me. Jesus loves me. The Holy Spirit leads me. I am a child of God.
When the service is over, parents and guardians will head to the respective classes to pick up their children.
