What is poor mental health versus good mental health?
A mental health diagnosis doesn't define your capacity for good mental health and a poor prognosis does not capture the potential of one's response or responsibility.
Many people have diagnosis of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, PTSD, ADHD and other difficult-to-navigate mental illnesses but even in those circumstances, living a stable, meaningful life with oneself and others can be achieved.
What does it look like to exercise effective treatment? What is good self-care to support illness? How can we affect change through our lifestyle and quality of life?
Recovery is not linear. It needs time, adjustments, and patience to discover increased stability. Learn more about how to become self-aware of your needs to better mental health for yourself and those in need of help.
