Galatians 4:1-5 What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.

So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world.

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

Matthew 15:12,14 Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”

“… Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Galatians 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel. . .

Galatians 4:6-7 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So, you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

John 6:60 On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?”

John 6:67-69 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” “Lord to whom shall we go?” “We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy one of God.”

Drinking beer is easy. Trashing your hotel room is easy. But being a Christian, that’s a tough call. That’s real rebellion.

I'm not out here to inspire someone to be the best player in the world because what's the point? That is not a fulfilling life. It's fulfilling from the sense of accomplishment, but it's not fulfilling from a sense of the deepest places of your heart.

Receiving an inheritance is a privilege, but it also comes with a responsibility to manage it wisely and ensure its longevity for future generations.
