The Promise
Text: Isaiah 7:14, 9:1-7
Many centuries have passed but God has not forgotten His promise. Through his prophet Isaiah God proclaims: “Therefore the Lord himself will give you[ a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel” and “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

The ProblemText: Genesis 3:1-24It was perfect in the beginning… but something went radically wrong. A huge yawing rift opened up between God and His creation. But God was determined that He would bring back those whom He loved and adored. Even from the point of fall we humans were given a promise… God would made it good again.
